Note

Don Shankle's transcripts show a Georgina Sponagle born 16 June 1815; however, this appears to have been an error. Kim Stevens checked a copy of the original handwritten records of the Dutch Reformed Church in Lunenburg, and confirmed that while Georgina is a possible interpretation of the script, George Enos fits better. Furthermore, there is no other child in all of the DRC records named Georgina - it simply was not used for females in 1815, and especially not among German ethics.
